About the Role We are seeking a Medical Officer to join our clinical team and provide high-quality medical services to participants enrolled in Phase 1 clinical trials. Reporting to the Assistant Medical Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring participant safety, protocol compliance, and high-quality clinical trial conduct in accordance with ICH GCP, regulatory requirements, and SCR Standard Operating Procedures. The Medical Officer may act as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator on Healthy Volunteer studies and will work collaboratively across clinical operations, project management, pharmacy, recruitment, and quality teams. About you A medical practitioner with broad experience (PGY4+ or more) and a recognised medical degree Full unconditional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency A commitment to participant safety, ethical conduct, and high-quality research Ability to work effectively under time pressure and within a multi-disciplinary team (which includes clinical and non-clinical staff) Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate and build good rapport with clinical trial staff and participants Availability 3-5 days per week Strong clinical experience and understanding of pharmacology and drug development and an interest in working with a healthy volunteers across a wider range of therapeutic disciplines Preferable but not essential : Experience in early-phase (Phase 1) clinical trials Advanced Life Support Training Relevant GCP Training or knowledge of GCP principles (training can be provided) Experience in conducting clinical trials or research as a Clinical Investigator Experience in working in commercially sponsored trial settings #J-18808-Ljbffr
