Stagwood - Howard Sawmill is an Australian producer of quality hardwood timber products including cladding, flooring, decking, lining, and landscaping solutions.We seek to employ an experienced Wood Machinist, Benchman, Truck Driver, or Labourer to join our team in Howard QLD 4659. The successful applicants will display an open and honest attitude along with a commitment to teamwork, quality control, and continuous improvement.In return, we offer a full-time permanent position paying above award rates for the right person in a growing Australian business with scope for increasing responsibilities and advancement.ResponsibilitiesMachinery set-up, operation, and maintenance.Set-up, adjust, and maintain moulding tools/Grey Bench Saw.Work alongside our production team to manage production run schedules to ensure customer expectations are met.Some manual handling and general labour as required by the team.Key Selection CriteriaExperience setting up moulders/Bench Saw to produce hardwood products.Experience in setting up and maintaining moulding tools/saws to maintain size specifications.Experience in following and managing production run schedules and reporting.Ability to work well in a team.Forklift licence not required but favourable.These are important roles within the organisation with above award rates available for the right candidates. The positions are available for immediate start working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday 7 am to 1 pm. Some overtime may be required.
