About the Role As the Assistant Centre Director (2IC), you’ll play a key leadership role in supporting the Centre Director to ensure the smooth, high‑quality operation of our service. Your Responsibilities Support the Centre Director with daily operations, compliance, and staff leadership. Mentor and inspire educators to deliver engaging, play‑based learning programs. Build and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and the wider community. Assist with rostering, enrolments, administration, and centre management. Uphold Bright Steps Academy’s commitment to child safety and wellbeing. About You You’re an enthusiastic and dedicated early childhood professional who is ready to step up and take on a leadership challenge in a new and supportive environment. What You’ll Bring Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved). Experience in a senior educator or leadership role (or readiness to step into one). Strong understanding of NQF, EYLF, and compliance standards. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
