The Role
ABC Strategy are seeking a Communications Adviser to develop and facilitate best practice corporate communications within the ABC. Based in Ultimo and working in a close-knit team, this is a 12 month contract position.
The Strategy team is made up of Corporate Strategy, Corporate Affairs, Communications, Education, and International Services. The Communications team are responsible for communicating any issues, messages, changes, projects, news and events within the ABC while also promoting the ABC’s content and successes. In this role you will develop and deliver internal communications for a range of teams and initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Communications you will also;

Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant internal stakeholders and support their communications needs.
Prepare, edit and distribute ABC internal communications to all staff via emails, newsletters, intranet and other platforms.
Act as site administrator and editor of the ABC intranet
Collaborate with the ABC communications team on communication development and distribution.

About You
You will be a well-rounded communications specialist with proven high-level experience working with traditional as well as new (digital/ online) media channels.
The ability to build strong relationships and influence others will be a key strength of yours as will your experience in managing multiple projects and working to strict deadlines.
The success of the role will also be dependent on your ability to demonstrate:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to create and deliver communications for a variety of audiences and across a variety of communication channels.
High level experience using and administering web content management systems with advanced editorial skills and judgement.
