Pool Technician

Are you an experienced or aspiring pool technician looking for your next opportunity? Beaches Pool Supplies is a long standing and well respected business operating in the Cairns and Northern Beaches area for over 20 years. Due to increasing growth and demand for our products and services we are looking to hire an additional pool technician. While predominantly out on the road, some retail shop work and some assistance with new equipment installation work will be required at times. Full training to any applicant new to the industry and we are all about equal opportunity so we want to hear from all keen applicants. The successful candidate will: Be able to work autonomously without supervision but also be able to work in a team environment as required Have excellent communication skills Be well presented, polite and professional in dealings with customers Take pride in their work Have a passion to learn and grow their skill set Key responsibilities include: General pool maintenance including cleaning, testing and balancing domestic swimming pools Helping out in our retail shop Making sure our customers and their pools are well looked after Candidates should have: A current manual driver’s license with a good driving record Experience in onsite swimming pool service/maintenance preferred but not essential, we are happy to train the right person Great customer service skills and an ability to work in a team Any previous experience of a customer service or trade role Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and ability to work unsupervised Enjoy the outdoors and engaging with our customers Great team environment, conditions, rates and plenty of work for the successful candidate with uniform, all equipment and company vehicle provided upon successful completion of probation period.
