Full-Time Sales Consultant and Part-Time Showroom & Sales Consultant Grow Your Career with Carpet Court – Sales Consultants (Full & Part-Time) About Us Our stores (Caboolture & North Lakes) are part of the Carpet Court group—Australia’s largest Flooring & Blinds retailer. We provide comprehensive training and a professional pathway into the flooring and window furnishings industry, within a supportive, growth-focused team. Job Responsibilities Shared (both roles) Welcome customers, provide accurate product information, and offer expert advice on flooring and window furnishings to help them find the right solution. Training provided. Collaborate with team members and supplier representatives to ensure smooth, professional service delivery. Primary focus: complete measure‑and‑quote leads generated by both store locations. Spend most of your time on the road visiting homes/sites; minimal time in the showroom. Manage your daily schedule using a fully equipped company vehicle, a mobile showroom on wheels with all product samples ready to present. Attend appointments, measure and draw detailed floor plans, prepare quotes, and finalise sales on‑site. Training provided. Part‑Time Showroom & Sales Consultant (In‑Store Focus) Primary focus: front‑of‑house greet customers, handle enquiries, book consultations, and create qualified appointments. Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and respond to enquiries (phone, email, in‑store). Maintain showroom standards, samples, and displays; assist with POS and admin tasks. Occasional support on the road for measures/quotes as needed. Required Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer‑first approach. Self‑motivated, organised, and team‑oriented; eager to learn. Role A: Flooring sales experience is essential, along with a full driver’s licence. Role B: Previous sales, retail, or home‑improvement experience is highly regarded, plus a full driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
