C BAR, located at Townsville's iconic The Strand, is seeking a full time restaurant assistant manager. At C BAR, we pride ourselves on providing professional customer service. Responsibilities Assisting in running day to day busy shifts Assisting the restaurant manager with daily operational needs for a successful business Assisting with ordering and accepting stock as well as stocktakes when needed Reconciliation and management of POS, takings, stock and operating supplies Leading, motivating and assisting with training staff in line with the business’s customer service expectations Great teamwork and a positive attitude Understanding and meeting KPIs and targets Opening and closing the venue Neat and tidy grooming/appearance Able to work a rotating full‑time roster with a mix of mornings, days and nights with weekends a must Qualifications Previous experience in management and/or supervising (training provided) Must have RSA (mandatory) Knowledge in bartending and coffee is also an advantage Interest in social media marketing is an advantage (not necessary) We pride ourselves on having a team that enjoy working with the stunning views and ocean breezes that accompany our large alfresco dining space. Located overlooking the ocean and Magnetic Island, it certainly beats being in an office The position is due to commence immediately.
