Early Childhood Educator

We are looking for a passionate, kind, caring, motivated, educator to join our established, experienced, and diverse team of educators on a full‑time basis (38 hours per week). You will work to develop supportive, respectful, and engaging relationships with our children, educators and families. Every person involved in Carabella Early Learning Centre has a responsibility to understand the important and specific role they play individually and collectively to ensure that the well‑being and safety of all children and young people is at the forefront of all they do and every decision they make. To be considered for this role, it is essential you: Have an early childhood qualification (Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher) or actively be working towards one (evidence of this will be required). Must understand the Early Years Learning Framework. Are independent, flexible, and enthusiastic. Have a passion for working with children. Have sound written and verbal communication skills. Have a current Working with Children Check, Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualifications or be willing to obtain one. Have a play‑based personal philosophy. Experience is preferable. You will also be able to demonstrate: The ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff. A positive attitude and outlook as well as the ability to work as part of a team. A commitment to your own ongoing professional development in early childhood. The ability to undertake the physical requirements involved within an early childhood setting. A passion and dedication towards driving forward the standards of early childhood education and care. It’s our belief that children learn best through play and being in the moment, with educators who know and understand them extending their experiences through all interactions, routines, experiences, and events. Play can include loose parts collections such as wood, shells, corks, bottle tops, pipes and hoses as these encourage agency and imaginative play.
