Fourth Lane Projects is seeking a skilled Carpenter or Apprentice Carpenter to join our dynamic team in Melbourne, VIC. As a full‑time position, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of high-quality residential and commercial projects across the city. Whether you are an experienced Carpenter or a budding apprentice, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company. What you'll be doing Performing a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, installation of doors and windows, constructing cabinetry and built‑in furniture, and finishing works. Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure accurate and compliant construction. Collaborating with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality work. Maintaining a safe and organised worksite, adhering to all health and safety regulations. For apprentices, working closely with experienced Carpenters to learn the trade and develop your skills. What we're looking for At least 2 years of experience as a Carpenter, or a passion for carpentry and a willingness to learn as an Apprentice. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically to find solutions. Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks. A keen eye for design and an understanding of construction techniques. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation. For apprentices, a commitment to completing your training and obtaining your Carpentry qualification.
