**Location:** *Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast* An integral part of our team, as a Food Services Assistant, you’ll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about. Let’s make a meaningful difference, togetherAs part of our Food Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service delivery to all customers including patients, staff and visitors. You will be responsible for basic meal preparation, portioning and serving of hot and cold meals, meal delivery and distribution, and cleaning. In addition to this you will: Assist with the timely assembly, delivery and collection of meals to patients and work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure all patients with special dietary requirements/changes are addressed and metEnsure a high standard of hygiene and safety throughout the food services department that complies with the hospital food safety programDemonstrate knowledge and understanding of HACCP principles in accordance with the hospital’s food safety programPrevious experience in a food service or hospitality team environment, preferably within a Healthcare industry.Demonstrated understanding and competencies in manual handling training, chemical use, hand hygiene and food safety Ability to work well in a team and support a positive team environment Basic numeracy, literacy, verbal communication and interpersonal skills including ability to read, measure accurately and perform basic math skillsWillingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements **A recognition and rewards platform**, providing employee discounts at hundreds of retailers, including everyday expenses, holidays, health insurance, annual awards celebration, wellbeing and employee assistance programs We’re on a mission to make a meaningful difference every day, working with thousands of Australians to ensure they live life in all its fullness.
