Western Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated and skilled Infusions Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team based in Murdoch. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients receiving infusion therapy, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
About the roleYour key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assisting MPU doctors with medical procedures including Bone Marrow Biopsies, Iron Infusions, Venesections, Short Synacthen and Mantoux testingRemoval of cannulas, wound checks and patient after care educationProviding clinical backup of medical emergencies (eg severe allergic reactions)Compliance and adherence with Western Diagnostic Pathology policies and procedures, and Workplace Health and Safety proceduresAbout youTo be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
