QLD Technical Solutions Manager Origin Energy invites applicants for the QLD Technical Solutions Manager position based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The role focuses on driving decarbonisation and high‑value energy solutions for industrial and commercial customers. About the role As the QLD Technical Solutions Manager, you’ll establish a pipeline of large‑volume opportunities with complex energy requirements and support strategic projects across Queensland. Working closely with our sales and technical teams, you’ll identify and deliver innovative solutions for industrial and commercial customers, helping them transition to lower‑carbon energy pathways. You’ll be at the forefront of Origin’s decarbonisation strategy, collaborating with internal and external partners to drive growth and deliver value for our customers and business. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop opportunities to displace higher‑emitting fuels (coal, diesel) in key industry sectors. Build and convert a robust sales pipeline of large‑scale, new‑to‑industry customers. Provide technical and commercial sales support to the senior sales group and strategic customer portfolio. Collaborate with Origin Zero, Future Fuels, and cross‑functional teams to deliver unified solutions. Guide customers through complex technical requirements and decarbonisation pathways. What will you bring? Business development experience, ideally in a technical sales role. Strong commercial acumen and strategic planning skills. Proven project and stakeholder management experience. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities. Resilience, accountability, and a passion for driving results and innovation.
