Cohesity names James Eagleton Managing Director for ANZ region Cohesity has appointed James Eagleton as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand. New role In his new role, Eagleton will oversee Cohesity's business strategy, drive sales operations, and advance growth initiatives across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. The company reports securing hundreds of exabytes of data for more than 13,600 enterprise customers globally, including nearly 70% of the Global 500. Eagleton takes up the position during a period of reported business expansion, following the integration of Veritas' regional operations. Leadership background Eagleton has experience in data security, virtualisation, and enterprise digital solutions, with leadership roles in organisations such as Adobe, Dell, and Sun Microsystems. Prior to this role, he led the South Pacific Data Services and Storage business at HPE. He has held responsibilities in building teams, delivering business growth, and supporting digital transformation activities for customers in the region. The expansion into the ANZ region is a part of Cohesity's wider growth efforts in Asia-Pacific and globally.
