Palm Lake Resort Beachmere Bay are seeking a Permanent Part time Cleaner / Kitchen Hand to maintain the presentation of our prestigious resort facilities. Covering 25 hours per week across a Monday to Friday roster. These shifts will incorporate a morning cleaning schedule followed by our Lunch or Dinner service where you will assist the chef in food preparation for meals and desserts, cleaning and plating dishes. Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining common areas such as the clubhouse, pool room, office, hairdresser, gym, craft room, clubhouse, and library. Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and rubbish removal. Ensuring toilet facilities are cleaned to a hygienic standard. Cleaning internal windows and ensuring equipment like refrigerators and microwaves are spotless. Assist in preparation of foods with meal service, including cutting, peeling, and washing. Cleaning dishes, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas. Tidying kitchen areas, including emptying dishwashers and wiping surfaces. Replenishing supplies such as coffee, tea, and other consumables. Identifying and eliminating hazards, such as slippery floors or obstacles, to ensure safety. Cleaning stock and display homes for potential purchasers. Qualifications A keen eye for detail and commitment to high cleaning standards. Experience in maintaining Safe Food Handling practices. Experience working in a commercial kitchen and meal preparation. Ability to work independently and manage a cleaning schedule effectively.
