Responsibilities Mow Lawns, cut edges with hand and ride‑on mowers (front deck & Ztrack) and whipper snipper. Remove litter from garden beds and driveways. Trim shrubs and plants and remove dead branches and leaves. Check function of irrigation system and report faults or insufficient/excessive watering. Apply fertiliser as per instructions. Use of spraying equipment like backpack sprayers, knapsack sprayers, and motorised spraying equipment, to control weeds, pests, and insects. Tasks to be carried out in a manner that causes the least inconvenience to customers, staff, and the general public. Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and the SNT operating procedures. Perform routine maintenance on gardening tools and equipment. Assist in the provision of on‑the‑job training. Understand and comply with quality, safety, health, and environmental policies. Follow written instructions, verbal direction, and procedures to perform work. Challenge any instructions that you believe place anyone or the environment at risk.
