Fund Analyst – Real Estate Funds Management Location: Sydney | Full-time | Unlisted Real Estate Funds | Multi‑Sector Portfolio An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Analyst to join a high‑performing, multi‑sector real estate investment platform. Managing a substantial portfolio of directly owned assets across Australia, this group is entering a new growth cycle and seeking a talented professional to contribute to portfolio performance, analytics, and strategic investment initiatives. The Role As part of the investments and portfolio management team, you’ll play a key role in driving fund performance, supporting portfolio curation and enhancing capital management decisions. You will: Oversee and perform analytics and reporting on portfolio returns, investment capacity and capital management. Take ownership of fund models, including budgeting, performance tracking, and scenario analysis. Contribute to key initiatives involving transactions, asset management, and business improvement. Review strategic asset plans and conduct impact analysis on transactions and fund‑level decisions. Prepare high‑quality reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, investors, and boards. Engage with investors and advisory groups to communicate fund performance and strategy. Collaborate across functions to support new fund launches, liquidity events, and business improvement projects. We’re looking for: 3–5+ years’ experience in real estate, funds management, investment banking, or financial analysis. Advanced Excel skills with a strong grasp of financial modelling and performance analytics. Solid understanding of fund structures, unlisted trusts and financial statements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Proactive attitude, curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
