Programmed Maintenance Services – Kenwick WA This role is primarily based in the transport yard, with spending most of the day operating a forklift. Key responsibilities Unloading trucks carrying pallets of crates, transporting them safely to the Crate Wash area, and ensuring proper handling throughout the process. Once the crates are washed, the candidate will move the cleaned pallets back into the yard and load them onto outgoing trucks. The role requires adherence to safety procedures, maintaining an organized yard, and working efficiently to support smooth daily operations. The position involves close collaboration with the yard and wash-bay teams and requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a forklift for extended periods. Qualifications: Valid forklift license. Proven experience operating a forklift for the majority of the production day over a full work week (at least 5 days). Experience loading and unloading various vehicle types, such as flatbeds, dog trailers, B-doubles, Pantech trucks, and shipping containers. Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle (NHV) laws and Chain of Responsibility regulations. Proficiency in operating a double tyne forklift. Demonstrates a strong forklift driver mindset, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
