A practice in Katanning is seeking a full-time general practitioner to join their well-established, family-focused practice. Katanning is located 287 kms from Perth with a population of around 4,057.Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, natural attractions, and down to earth characters creating plenty of country charm. This exciting role includes Emergency Department on-call duties within a thriving agricultural community, offering the chance to immerse yourself in diverse and rewarding rural medicine. The Practice This practice provides comprehensive general practice service alongside a 24-hour Emergency Department coverage at the local hospital.The hospital operates 24/7 with rostered doctor coverage and clinical support from the Emergency Telehealth Service (ETS) to assist with fatigue management and acute presentations. This position offers exceptional clinical variety, including exposure to a broad range of presentations and acute scenarios, supported by highly experienced and well-respected mentions and supervisors.With over 20 years of continuous ownership by the same rural GP, this practice is a welcoming, family-orientated workplace with strong community roots.
