We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR / Compliance Administrator to support the Human Resources and Compliance functions of our community and allied health organisation. This role is responsible for maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, producing documentation, and a range of HR administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, document design skills, and a working knowledge of HR processes. Work from home and flexible part-time hours. Commence early January. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Maintain accurate employee records, including qualifications, registrations, checks and licenses. Support recruitment, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, shortlisting candidates and completing reference checks. Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures. Track staff compliance with mandatory training and certification. Manage HR administration tasks such as leave tracking, expense claims, payroll. Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees and management. Manage HR documentation such as contracts, policies, and performance reviews. Support processes for staff rewards and team building. Administration Display excellent written communication skills in document creation and maintain regular. Navigate employee management software platforms to effectively maintain records. Use online platforms to securely store documentations and manage tasks. Compliance & Quality Support Assist in maintaining compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, including preparation for audits and reporting. Maintain and update compliance registers (e.g., incident reporting, complaints, training). Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures. Ensure all documentation reflects current NDIS legislation, quality standards, and best practice. Coordinate training or communication to staff regarding policy updates. Track completion of mandatory training. Assist with internal investigations and reporting processes relating to incidents, complaints, or breaches. Keep up-to-date with relevant changes in legislation and inform the HR team accordingly. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in HR administration and compliance. Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct. Demonstrated experience in writing, reviewing, and updating internal policies, procedures and documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills. Confident working with sensitive information with a high level of discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google is highly desirable, as well as experience navigating CRM platforms. Passionate for community services / disability industry. Qualification in Human Resources, Compliance, Business Administration, or Disability Services. Understanding of compliance requirements and operations within the NDIS or disability services sector. Familiarity with the NDIS Commission portal and audit processes.
