About the Business Our Disability and Specialised Services Division provides valuable support to the South Australian community through direct service delivery, inclusion policy and sector reform work. As an NDIS‑registered provider, we offer SIL services that supervise and help with everyday tasks to support people living with disability to live as independently as possible. The Division also encompasses quality and clinical services and the DHS Equipment Program. Role Overview As a Disability Services Officer you’ll provide vital support to individuals with disabilities, helping them lead independent, fulfilling lives. Your role will include fostering community inclusion, delivering personal care, and building meaningful relationships. Responsibilities Support and supervise individuals with disability in daily living activities. Implement and support Positive Behaviour Support Plans. Provide culturally safe and trauma‑informed care. Build and maintain respectful relationships with clients and their families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical and quality staff. What We’re Looking For Committed to person‑centred support that upholds clients’ rights, choices and dignity. Requirements Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) (required). First Aid Certificate. National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check. NDIS Worker Orientation completed. NDIS Supporting Effective Communication module completed. NDIS Supporting safe and enjoyable meals module completed.
