Services Coordinator – Ascension Connection Join us as the Services Coordinator for Ascension Connection. In this vital role, you will oversee the activities of Ascension Connection (AC), including our weekly Friday Morning community time focused on fostering connections and providing food relief. Responsibilities Coordinating and collaborating with volunteers every Friday morning, as well as assisting with food purchasing and collection throughout the week. Attending monthly AC committee meetings, held in the late afternoon or early evening. Partnering with the Anglican Midland Parish Treasurer to maintain AC finances. Helping create funding applications and letters for our valued supporters. Developing innovative strategies to expand and enhance the mission of AC. Assisting in the induction and training of new volunteers. Maintaining a small database of volunteer information. Position Details Category: Community ServicesCommitment: Regular - less than 6 monthsType of Work: Administration & Office Management, Counselling & Help Line, Food Preparation & Service, Mediation & AdvocacyTime Required: 10am - 12pm on Friday for food relief, but other times as available for volunteer and community engagement support.Training: Induction If you're passionate about making a difference and enjoy working with a dedicated team, we would love to have you on board. #J-18808-Ljbffr
