Senior Manager Legislation & Privacy Senior Manager Legislation & Privacy Full-time, fixed-term role for 3 years Geelong office location, flexible hybrid working (3‑day office attendance per week) About the role As Senior Manager, Legislation & Privacy, you will lead the TAC’s legislative, legal policy, and privacy functions. This pivotal executive role is responsible for ensuring the Transport Accident Act 1986 remains contemporary, responsive and sustainable. You’ll oversee legislative amendments, provide expert advice to internal and government stakeholders and manage the organisation’s information and privacy obligations. With oversight of 25 staff and direct leadership of 4 managers, you’ll shape strategy, influence policy and safeguard compliance while driving innovation in privacy and information management. About the Team You’ll join the Community Division, dedicated to engaging, educating, and influencing the Victorian community, stakeholders and our people. What we’re looking for You have extensive experience leading legislative amendments and subordinate legislation programs, along with deep knowledge of government legislation processes, statutory frameworks, and regulatory environments. You’re able to inspire and manage multi‑functional teams, fostering collaboration and high performance. You are skilled in building partnerships with government, regulators, and external advisors. Strong background in privacy, FOI processes, and organisational risk management. Capacity to provide strategic advice that balances compliance requirements with business transformation needs.
