Dalgaranga is Ramelius' newest long life, high-grade underground mine, located northwest of Mount Magnet. With the Never Never and Pepper deposits, it strengthens long-term production and feeds the Mount Magnet hub, supporting Ramelius' long-term growth strategy. The Role As a Mechanical Fitter, you will repair and maintain site assets across a busy ramp-up operation, while ensuring the processing plant is kept in care and maintenance to a standard ready for restart. Working within a small, multi-skilled maintenance team, you'll be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance across fixed plant, mobile equipment, village facilities, and non-process infrastructure (NPI). Responsibilities Maintain the processing plant in care and maintenance to ensure readiness for restart if required Perform routine servicing, inspections, and mechanical repairs on mobile plant, light vehicles, pumps, compressors, generators, and other site machinery Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault‑finding to minimise downtime and maintain operational readiness Complete preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication, fluid sampling, filter changes Maintain and repair village facilities and NPI assets such as water systems, HVAC units, minor carpentry, fuel systems, light towers, and utilities Work collaboratively within a small maintenance team and assist other trades as required Operate site cranes and lifting equipment safely and in line with safe lifting procedures Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation About You You are a qualified Mechanical Tradesperson (Fitter or Mechanic) with a safety-first mindset, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a small, high-performing team. Flexible and proactive, you're ready to contribute across site areas and ensure reliability of critical assets. Qualifications Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or relevant mechanical background Experience in mining, heavy industry, or remote-site maintenance Competence in servicing mobile plant, mechanical equipment, and varied site infrastructure Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities across equipment and facilities HR or MR licence would be advantageous CN non‑slewing crane certification is essential Familiarity with safety systems and permit‑to‑work processes, with a commitment to safe work practices Familiarity with Pronto and INX is preferred Additional High‑Risk Work Licences, e.g., EWP, dogging, rigging, forklift (desirable) Job Details This role is offered on an initial 6‑month, fixed‑term basis, with extensions or a permanent role possible beyond this. Employed on a salaried basis, you will have entitlement to leave and other benefits. This role is available on an 8 : 6 FIFO basis from Perth.
