About the role Our Social Support Activity Workers are responsible for delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support within a community aged care setting and assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activity programs that reflect the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each individual, fostering a supportive and engaging social environment. Duties & Skills Facilitate social groups and activities for clients, including but not limited to singalongs, quiz activities, current affair discussions, and reminiscing sessions. Assist with the day program activities and sessions, set up and pack away. Working knowledge of those living with dementia. Assist with client transport. Assist with client’s personal care and toileting needs at the centre as required. Customer focused with passion for working in aged care. Qualifications & Experience Cert III Aged Care or Community Services Cert IV in Lifestyle & Leisure or extensive experience in running group activities in an aged care environment is desirable.
