Silverstrand is seeking a
Senior Project Engineer
to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Brisbane or Redland Bay region projects.
About the roleReporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Project Engineer is responsible for:Ensuring that the project works are completed safely and in compliance with Silverstrand and our client’s procedures, engineering drawings/ specifications, budgets and timeframesOverseeing projects under the guidance of the Project ManagerPrepare, monitor and update plans and working to weekly and monthly programsProvide engineering and technical advice to the project teamAssist with Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliersEnsuring quality requirements are being metProgramming and planning of the worksPreparing monthly financial reports including cost to complete forecastsEssential Skills and ExperienceCivil Engineering Degree or similar7+ years’ experience in an engineering capacity on civil infrastructure projectsAbility to read and understand civil, structural and services drawingsManage and raise technical queriesKnowledge of construction scheduling and sequencingManage budgets for subcontractors/suppliersUnderstanding of Quality Control SystemsExcellent safety record from previous projectsWhat’s on offerCompetitive salary based on the successful candidate’s experienceA permanent position with a growing civil construction companyA site-based position to further develop your skills as a Civil Engineer and no two days will be the sameCareer progressionSponsorship is available for the right candidateAbout UsSilverstrand is a privately owned and operated contractor operating across Australasia since 2008, providing quality delivery in all areas of both civil and structural construction works in metro, regional and remote areas.
