Line Maintainer - Mechanical Job no: Work type: Full TimeLocation: Sydney - West At Visy, we don’t just make cans – we create opportunities. As a Line Maintainer based in Smithfield, you will be responsible for Operate and maintain high-tech equipment across various stages of beverage can production. Perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations. Undertake preventative and reactive maintenance of auxiliary machinery. Work collaboratively within a close-knit team to achieve production targets. Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. What You Will Bring: Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade) and a completed 4 year apprenticeship. At least 5 years’ experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment. Hands‑on experience in machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment. Availability to work a unique rotating roster – Day and Nights.
