About the job Entwined are looking for an ambitious and detail orientated Junior Business Analyst who wants to build a career in technology and software development industry. If you are passionate about improving software, processes, and delivering business outcomes through developing new ways to work and achieve customer outcomes then this your chance to work across the full product development lifecycle. You’ll learn how software works by breaking it (constructively) and communicating with detail what was broken and how you broke it. As you gain skills and confidence with our platform and the development processes, you’ll shadow the Head of Product during workshops and requirements sessions, document simpler features, run agile ceremonies, and write user stories and product requirement documents. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development. Successful applicants will have the chance to build a variety of skills across the disciplines of quality assurance, business analysis, and product management. Key Responsibilities Test new features against acceptance criteria across web interfaces Execute regression testing during release cycles Write and record detailed, reproducible bug reports with steps, screenshots and relevant context Build and maintain test cases, test plans and testing documentation Retest resolved defects to confirm fixesSupport UAT activities with internal teams and clients when needed Create functional diagrams including process maps, and UML diagrams Write and proof functional and non-functional specifications Review and test configured solutions against documented requirements Maintain product documentation and training materials Support scoping and translating client requirements into delivery plans Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or similar field preferred but not required, or equivalent demonstrated experience in software testing or analysis roles. Methodical and detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture Persistent when hunting down bugs or understanding requirements Comfortable asking questions and admitting when you don't know something Excellent written and verbal communication skills Genuine curiosity about how and why software works the way it does Solid understanding of how web applications work (front-end, back-end, APIs, databases) Experience with testing concepts and methodologies, whether formal or self-taught Experience with test automation tools or frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) Previous work in a software development environment Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices Experience working with REST APIs or understanding of integration concepts Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Get notified about new Junior Business Analyst jobs in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia . #J-18808-Ljbffr
