Respiratory Fit Tester – Role Overview The Respiratory Fit Tester is part of the Work Health and Safety team who provide essential health and safety oversight to many industries including but not limited to Healthcare, Construction, Mining, Gas and Oil, Government and Utilities. Responsibilities Testing Respiratory masks and teaching individuals correct use of Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) for N95/P2, Half Face and Full Face masks. Coordinating and conducting quantitative fit testing and fit checking processes for staff. Providing education and training in correct donning and doffing, use, storage and maintenance of RPE. Selecting the appropriate Respiratory protection for the customer's specific work environment. Daily calibration, maintenance and operation of equipment. Daily monitoring and ordering of stock and consumables required. Generating simple end-of-day reports. Maintaining a professional relationship with customers, distributors, manufacturers and industry experts. Maintaining calendar and customer bookings. Splitting time between site location and FTA offices; supporting rural work which may include driving or flying. Benefits Part time and casual. FTA is looking for candidates that have a high level of customer service, a willingness to learn a trade and share the knowledge to our customers and their employees. Training will be provided to the successful applicant. Full unrestricted driver's license and vehicle. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook). Confident to present to groups either large or small.
