Melbourne Fitness & Performance is looking for a driven, experienced, and friendly Sport Physiotherapist to join our team in West Footscray and assist us with our aim to become the leading private sport rehabilitation facility in Victoria. We pride ourselves on being a great place to work, having cultivated a healthy balance of fun and ambition amongst our team allowing us to deliver a premium service to athletes of all levels in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. We are constantlyating within our premium facility, setting up systems that allow us to operate more efficiently and guarantee results for the athletes entrusting us with their performance and rehabilitation goals. The Rehab 2 Performance program is our flagship sport rehabilitation program, within which physiotherapists and athletic performance coaches work together to provide our athletes with a comprehensive service that has seen countless athletes return to sport. Role Contractor or Employed (up to the candidate’s experience, preference and availability) Athlete management, Initial & review consultations, on field & gym floor rehabilitation You are An excellent communicator, emotionally intelligent & empathetic Strength and conditioning background or interest in the area required, with the willingness to integrate with our performance team Must have the motivation and personal drive to want to improve and grow, which we will help facilitate Available to start in January Benefits 24-Hour gym access Employee mentoring program Professional development assistance Schedule 2 - 3 days a week / 15 - 25 hours / week (negotiable - can be more or less) 2-3 x 5-8 hour shifts Days are flexible but will require either 2 nights OR 1 night and a Saturday morning Admin hours provided for out of contract hours administrative tasks, phone calls, & communication Experience Private practice : 3+ years (preferred) Sub-elite - elite sport : 3+ years (preferred) Licence / Certification Relevant Physiotherapy Degree (Essential) AHPRA registration (Preferred) Driver Licence (Preferred) Work Authorisation Australia (Preferred) Essential Requirements Relevant Tertiary Qualification First Aid Certificate Current Provide / Perform CPR Sports Medicine / Physio / Allied Health Degree Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check Drivers Licence #J-18808-Ljbffr
