Head of Applications

Key Responsibilities Lead the management and enhancement of applications in cloud-hosted and SaaS/web-based environments. Oversee IT Applications Services operations, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and alignment with business goals. Partner with senior stakeholders to shape technology solutions that enable clinical and corporate outcomes. Manage third-party application service providers and ensure effective delivery of service agreements. Identify, assess and manage risks associated with complex, IT-enabled projects and programs. Champion continuous improvement, risk management and ITIL/SIAM-aligned service delivery processes. About You Deep experience in Applications Support and understanding of business processes enabled by technology. Proven experience managing an IT Applications Services department or similar team in a SaaS or cloud environment. Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels. Experience managing cloud-hosted and package-based application service providers . Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with IT project delivery tools and methodologies (Agile, CI/CD). In-depth understanding of hospital business processes , workflows and operational drivers. Experience identifying and managing risks across complex IT programs. Experience with CI/CD methodologies and modern project management practices for cloud applications. Exposure to cloud-based application architectures and integration patterns. Strong background in program and project management , ITIL/SIAM frameworks , and negotiation. Deep understanding of cloud services, SaaS, digital, web and mobile applications . Experience building, transforming and operationalising new IT capabilities. Knowledge of risk management principles , Agile and continuous delivery tools and practices. Ability to balance long and short-term IT and support needs within budget constraints. #J-18808-Ljbffr
