Grand Central Medical Centre – Toowoomba QLD 5 Doctor General Practice needing a Registered Nurse to ensure a smooth and efficiently functioning practice, in addition to providing exceptional standard of care to our patients. Responsibilities: Perform clinical duties within required level of clinical competency, according to best available evidence. Full Training in General Practice work offered to suitable applicant. Duties: Triage Childhood immunisations and general injections Wound management Chronic disease management ECG and spirometry Assist Doctors with clinical procedures and maintaining clinical documentation as per Practice Policy Set up for excisions, biopsy and other general medical procedures Monitoring iron infusions Patient education and community health promotion Working on Quality Improvements through working on data management Sterilisation Recalls and Reminders Professional actions: Commitment to best standard and act within the nursing code of ethics and at an appropriate level of competence at all times. Consistently be aware of and comply with workplace health and safety. Maintain patient and practice privacy at all times. Conduct conversations and interactions with patients in accordance with best practice standard and good manners. Position hours: (8.30am to 4.30pm on workdays). This is a casual position for 3 days a week and additional days offered when other staff on leave.
