Product Manager (Discovery) THE ICONIC Overview Join the Product team at THE ICONIC —an innovative, collaborative culture where tech and business intersect to create delightful customer experiences across web and mobile. As a Product Manager for Discovery, you will shape how customers search, navigate, and find products, driving relevance, conversion, and platform performance. Responsibilities Lead strategic initiatives and everyday improvements in the Discovery (Search and Catalogue) domain. Drive next‑generation discovery experiences through product ranking, relevance, NLP, semantic search, and personalization. Own the discovery product vision, roadmap, and "Definition of Why"—improve relevance, conversion, reduce cost, scale performance, or enhance stability. Collaborate daily with engineering to quantify opportunities, evaluate technical options, design solutions, and build realistic release plans. Partner with senior leaders across Customer Product, Engineering, Data Science, Trade, and Marketing to align investment decisions. Lead discovery and scoping phases to understand user problems and articulate value propositions. Use experiments, A/B testing, and data analysis to drive continuous improvements in search relevance and customer satisfaction. Work closely with UX and research teams to create a user‑friendly, accessible discovery experience. Communicate proactively and transparently with stakeholders and contribute to broader product practice. Identify new growth opportunities and champion experimentation. Qualifications Product management experience delivering user‑facing products. Proven track record leading search, discovery, or data‑rich product areas in a high‑traffic, consumer environment. Strong background collaborating with AI/ML teams on ranking models, NLP, or query understanding. Experience in an agile environment and cross‑functional product ownership. Ability to create and execute product roadmaps, define go‑to‑market strategy, and steer design discussions. Knowledge of search, catalogue, and ranking logic. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated stakeholder and relationship management. Preferred Experience with e‑commerce digital products (online and mobile) and large‑scale catalogues. Practical understanding of search infrastructure (Elasticsearch, Solr, OpenSearch, or vector databases). Why You'll Love the ROLE Hybrid and flexible working model.
