The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floating Production Manager to join our team. Based primarily at our new Geelong factory, this pivotal role provides production management support across multiple sites, filling in for Production Managers during leave periods and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives when not covering operational gaps. You will ensure operational continuity, efficiency, and compliance, while contributing to strategic improvement projects. Key Responsibilities: Act as Production Manager during leave periods across sites, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to KPIs. Maintain production schedules, quality standards, and safety compliance. Lead and participate in CI projects to optimise processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity. Analyse operational data and recommend efficiency improvements. Provide guidance and coaching to site teams, supporting capability building for supervisors and shift managers. Ensure compliance with OHS, infection control, and environmental standards. Champion best practices in hygiene and safety. Regular travel across Gouge sites to provide hands‑on leadership and support. About You: Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (OHS and production efficiency certifications advantageous). Significant experience in production management within manufacturing, preferably in a medium to large‑scale organisation. Strong knowledge of CI methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred). Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage multi‑site operations and adapt quickly to different environments.
