We support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs and businesses across Northern Australia. We work at the intersection of social enterprise and remote Indigenous business, creating positive change in our communities. Many Indigenous businesses in Northern Australia function as social enterprises - creating jobs and growing economic development in their communities. We offer The Cowork - professional, flexible, culturally safe workspaces in the Darwin region The Business Builder Program - helping Indigenous entrepreneurs to build their businesses The Stepping into Business Program - helping remote Indigenous innovators to step into business The Impact North Community - membership of a Territory‑wide social enterprise ecosystem Through these programs, we help entrepreneurs turn their vision into reality. The role You will create a space where people feel connected, supported, and able to do their best work. You'll greet Coworkers and guests, help with day‑to‑day needs, and keep the space running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll Welcome Coworkers, guests, and visitors with a friendly, professional tone Manage room bookings, supplies, and basic tech for meetings and events Add thoughtful touches to the space that make people feel at home Build genuine relationships and support a positive, culturally safe community Keep shared areas clean, organised, and ready to use Help with access, basic tech, and online booking tools Log and respond to feedback and requests quickly and politely Location: Nightcliff, Darwin, NT (with support to other Impact North Cowork locations) About you Warm, reliable, and proud to help others You notice small things and quietly make them right Proactive and solutions‑focused Care about creating welcoming spaces Comfortable with digital tools for communication, access, and bookings Clear, friendly communicator (written and verbal) Strong organisation and time management Experience in coworking, hospitality, community spaces, or facilities is a plus (not essential) Interest in styling and making spaces feel inviting Strong cultural awareness and respect when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples What you need Customer service, hospitality, community space, or facilities experience is valued National Police Check (or willing to obtain) Working With Children Clearance/Ochre Card (or willing to obtain) First Aid certificate is a plus (or willing to obtain) What we offer $34.58 per hour, approx. $41,000 per year at 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours weekly) 12% Superannuation Salary Sacrifice options Supportive, collaborative team Real impact in community A purpose‑driven community of social enterprises and changemakers The opportunity to shape a cowork space that supports meaningful work A creative team environment where your ideas truly matter Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) to support your wellbeing We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
