About The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Tighes Hill, Newcastle plant. As a Production Supervisor, you will manage the production process and maintain the highest standards of quality and customer service. Responsibilities Concrete batching & front‑end loader operations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System. Manage the water and waste management system, adhering to environmental requirements. Oversee concrete production, meeting customer specifications and deadlines. Optimize truck and personnel scheduling to ensure efficient operations. Maintain stock levels by ordering raw materials and conducting regular inventory checks. Coordinate equipment maintenance and engage contractors when needed. Provide leadership and support to the production team. Handle administrative tasks and contribute to operational improvements. Requirements Previous experience in a production or supervisory role. Previous batching experience is an advantage. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines. Effective leadership abilities to motivate and develop a diverse team. Front‑end loader certification and LF forklift license (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Hours Of Work Start/finish timing varies between weeks with regular overtime and weekend work. More detail will be provided on request.
