Theatre Technician The Royal Melbourne Hospital Full time/Part time/Casual hours available 10 hour shifts Salary packaging options The 3 West Day Procedure Unit within The Royal Melbourne Hospital provides complex care through many specialties including interventional and diagnostic endoscopy, surgical procedures (plastics, ophthalmology, pain management, urology, orthopaedics, and general surgery), anaesthetic and recovery. We are seeking a Theatre technician to support our team. Your new role Fun, interesting, dynamic and supportive team environment Work across three procedure rooms: elective and emergency Endoscopy and Day surgery including Ophthalmology, General, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Urology surgery Provide patient assistance to clinical and theatre staff About you Dedicated and motivated to provide excellent customer service and patient safety Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary health care team Excellent communication and time management skills Thrive in a fast paced environment Have a commitment to delivery of excellence in patient experience Certificate III in Operating Theatre Support, or working towards Benefits of working at RMH Be part of a supportive and values-driven workplace culture Career growth opportunities, ongoing training, and professional development Access to Health & Wellbeing programs including Fitness Passport, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and Staff Peer Support Salary packaging, on-site car parking, and great public transport access To view the position description click here Interested?
