Heavy Duty Fitter – MACA Apply to join the Heavy Duty Fitter role at MACA. 4 days ago, be among the first 25 applicants. The Role & Project MACA Mining is seeking experienced HD Fitters to join our maintenance team at the Miralga Creek project. The Miralga Creek Project, owned by Hancock Iron ore, is situated approximately 100km from the Utah Point stockyard at Port Hedland, with production of 1.9Mtpa. The fleet on this project consists of Komatsu 1250 excavators, Komatsu 785-7 trucks, CAT dozers, graders, watercarts and T45 drills. Responsibilities & Qualifications Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificate Surface mining equipment fleet experience – Komatsu, CAT Ability to troubleshoot and fault find complex mechanical and hydraulic problems. Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience. Excellent communication skills. Highly motivated with the ability to work independently. Good knowledge and ability to follow work health & safety procedures and policies. What We Will Offer You FIFO 2:1 roster Full time and casual rates available.
