Academic Director, Education Strategy Academic Director, Education Strategy – internal vacancies · Orange, Australia Full-time Fixed Term (up to 5 years) Senior remuneration package from $208,921 to $261,151 (including superannuation) Campus-based: Albury–Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga. The role As the Academic Director, Education Strategy you will shape and direct a future-focused course portfolio aligned with the university’s Education Strategy. You will lead innovative curriculum development that responds to evolving student industry and disciplinary needs, including the integration of AI and programmatic assessment.
Responsibilities
Drive transformation and shape future-ready courses. Champion education innovation and curriculum design. Collaborate with executive leaders to implement strategic initiatives. Lead the application and evaluation of digital technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Manage and deliver change initiatives to support strategic education goals.
Qualifications
& Experience PhD-qualified with recognised expertise in curriculum, student learning or assessment transformation. Strong knowledge of educational design, AI policy and equity in a regional university context. Proven leader in strategic education initiatives with team management and change delivery experience. Excellent communicator and collaborator with influence across senior and cross-functional teams.
Experience
applying and evaluating digital technologies to enhance learning outcomes. First Nations, culturally diverse, disability supported, neurodivergent, all ages and genders encouraged to apply.
