The Opportunity Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Technician to join the Operations Team based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects. Our technicians play a vital role in our production environment, creating smarter solutions for our customers, while monitoring product quality, remaining committed to their safety and that of the team. What Will You Do? Working Monday to Friday, (7:30 – 3:30pm and 8:30am – 4:30pm on rotation) you will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities. unload inbound trucks and load outbound trucks & customer vehicles operate sheet metal fabrication folder pick‑pack orders provide professional customer service to our customers identify detailed orders and product types complete manual handling of our product More About You Being a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring: experience in a similar operations environment or building industry exposure a positive attitude and a desire to work in a role that offers career progression commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others a reasonable degree of physical fitness and flexibility as manual work is involved clear verbal communication as well as an acceptable level of numerical and literacy skills Why BlueScope As we’re creating strength for the future through our people, products and solutions, BlueScope supports you to build your expertise within a safe and positive team environment.
