Requisition No: 6288 Executive Division: Operations Division: Integrated Community Health Services Program: Community Programs Department: ICHS Occupational Therapy Enterprise Agreement: Varied Health and Allied Services, Managers and Ad Job Function: Allied Health Professionals Allied Health Assistant - Community Occupational Therapy Allied Health Assistant Location: Melton Community Services Employment Type: Part-Time (45.6 hours/fortnight), Ongoing Salary: Grade 3 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging About the Role: Our Community Occupational Therapy team of Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants providing support to patients within the communities of Melton and Bacchus Marsh. The team works closely with the wider multidisciplinary team supporting clients to achieve their individualised goals and optimise their function and independence within the home and community. The role is well supported by an experienced team of Occupational Therapists. Key Responsibilities The role will support: Maintenance, cleaning, delivery, education of specific occupational therapy equipment About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Certificate IV qualification in Allied Health Assistance (required) Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills A passion for delivering high quality care working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Western Health is one of the largest healthcare providers in Victoria, caring for a vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing community of one million people in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
