Reporting to the development or productionSupervisor- your duties will include; Charging faces (working with emulsion-based explosives) Working closely with the jumbo and long-hole operators Working closely with a tight knit crew Working in a highly safe manner Your skills and experience Your 1-2+ years recent experience working as a charge up operator will put you in a great position with the tasks you will face in this role. Other key skill/ licenses needed; Underground hard rock mining development/production charge up experience (essential) Experience working with emulsion-based explosives Excellent safety standards Team player and have the ability to work autonomously Looking for long term permanent work on a FIFO 2:2 roster The opportunity and why apply This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term permanent role with a leading UG mining contractor with a long contract and previous tenure at site.
