Part‑time, approx 20 hours per week, (with the opportunity to increase work hours) Salary: $70,000–$75,000 (annual full‑time equivalent, pro‑rated based on part‑time hours) Blue Dot Travel is a boutique travel operator based in Sydney. We specialise in taking small groups to unique destinations around the globe. All of our tour itineraries are tailored – we don’t buy off‑the‑shelf tours. We are a small, friendly company with a loyal customer base. We started in 2011 and operate with a family‑like culture. We are looking for a service‑oriented professional to join our team and become an integral part of the business. If you are a motivated, experienced travel specialist, we would like to speak with you about a role within our company. The hours required of you, the destination from where you work and other aspects of the role are flexible. Key Responsibilities Supporting the team across all elements of group tour bookings, including Flight planning, booking and ticketing using Amadeus Managing services such as hotels, stopovers and airport transfers Visa support where required Invoicing and collecting payments for travel services Ongoing communication with customers Quoting and liaising with Destination Management Companies (DMCs) for group tour bookings Researching essential travel information for our tours Preparing and sending travel documentation Our Ideal Candidate Possesses the Following Skills At least 5 years of GDS experience (Amadeus preferred) At least 5 years of experience in the travel industry Previous experience within a tour operator or with private groups highly advantageous Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems Passionate about travel, with a good knowledge of “lesser travelled” destinations A positive attitude and a strong work ethic Ability to be proactive and self‑manage systems and tasks What We Can Offer You A casual, but professional working environment Flexibility in hours worked Flexibility with workplace (North Sydney office & home) About 20 hours a week to start, open to taking on more over time Working with a great bunch of fun people Longer‑term opportunities to travel for business If you are the sort of person who loves to go somewhere different we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
