Position Senior VET Advisor Remuneration Package Range $134,227 – $144,271 (salary $113,938 – $122,574) Location and Availability Alice Springs or Darwin, fixed full‑time vacancy until 29/11/2028. Role Overview Apply your Vocational Education Training expertise to assist school‑based trainers and assessors deliver high‑quality VET programs to secondary students. The Department of Education and Training’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is dedicated to delivering nationally accredited Vocational Education Training (VET) programs to school‑aged students across the Northern Territory, focusing on extending VET to urban and remote schools, cultivating a skilled VET workforce and facilitating high‑quality delivery for student outcomes. Responsibilities Oversee design, development and implementation of VET programs for secondary school students. Collaborate with industry and schools to provide accurate guidance and comprehensive support to stakeholders in a complex service environment. Ensure delivery of quality programs in schools, including guidance and assistance for school‑based trainers and assessors. Provide quality assurance and develop compliant and contextualised resources to meet regulatory standards. Qualifications A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or a Diploma in Adult Education, with experience in an RTO or TAFE, will be well received.
