Leadership opportunity for a Clinical Educator to join our Cardiac Cath Lab teamAbout the RoleAs Clinical Educator, the successful candidate will provide Advanced Life Support training to nursing staff across the hospital, including both adults and paediatrics.To support ALS training and requirements, you will also be responsible for providing mock code training / simulations to our clinical departments to support staff in the management of deteriorating patients.This position will also be responsible for facilitation of training as well as meeting competency compliance for BLS across the hospital.Join our friendly and dynamic Clinical Education Team now in this unique opportunityYour Skills and ExperienceYou will be a positive and supportive mentor with a passion for sharing your knowledge with others and assisting in the clinical development of our nurses.Registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseCurrent ARC ALS 1 or 2 qualification / instructor qualification, or willing to acquireMinimum of two (2) years’ experience in Critical Care Nursing (ICU, CCU or Emergency)Understanding of methods in assisting and facilitating learningExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHolds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (Or working towards)What’s in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
