Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist based in Melbourne, VIC. The role involves working across clinic settings, in the community, and from home as required, providing flexibility while ensuring high‑quality client care. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering ongoing therapy sessions for individuals with disabilities and musculoskeletal conditions. The role includes supporting both pediatric and adult clients, facilitating tailored rehabilitation programs, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, communicating effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, and contributing to a patient‑centred, outcome‑driven approach to care. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist Experience in community-based practice, including home visits, functional assessments, and goal‑directed interventions Strong understanding of NDIS, HCP, TAC, WorkCover, Medicare, and other relevant funding streams Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments (functional, ADL, home safety, equipment prescription, and capacity‑building) Ability to develop and implement individualised therapy plans for clients across all age groups, from pediatrics to older adults Knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, developmental, and disability‑related conditions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to work autonomously and manage a mobile caseload efficiently Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community visits (if required) Passion for improving patient quality of life and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Health Care Provider Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
