Join the dynamic team at G K Freighters' as a full-time Yardperson in our Townsville, QLD 4810 depot. In this hands‑on role, you will play a key part in the smooth operation of our warehousing, storage and distribution services. What you'll be doing Efficiently load and unload freight from trucks and containers Properly stack, store and retrieve goods in the warehouse Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment as required Assist with inventory management and stock taking Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean, safe and organised manner Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients Work collaboratively with the wider logistics team to meet operational targets What we're looking for No experience in a warehousing, distribution or logistics role No Forklift licence and experience operating materials handling equipment Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently Good communication and interpersonal skills What we offer At G K Freighters', we are committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment for all our employees.
