JOB DESCRIPTION Compensation : $ - $ per hour ASG Pharmacy has partnered with an established health system to assist with their growing pharmacy department. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist-In-Charge to join the team at a Long Term Care Pharmacy This role could develop into further responsibilities within the organization and is perfect for those looking for hands‑on leadership roles Job Description Oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new staff members. Ensure all staff maintain required licenses, certificates, and registrations. Verify staff responsibilities align with their regulatory scope of practice. Provide training, coaching, and ensure compliance training is completed for all employees. Manage performance reviews, including new hire and annual evaluations, on schedule. Accurately manage PTO / Attendance records and address staff performance or behavioral concerns. Support supervisors in reviewing staff performance and ensure proper staff training. Ensure staff coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions adhere to company standards. Ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling to meet workloads and regulatory requirements. Main Responsibilities Oversee staff hiring, onboarding, and compliance with licensing / certification. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance reviews. Manage staff attendance records and address performance issues. Ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling to meet regulatory and workload needs. Support supervisors in staff training and performance management. Pay $-$k + 10% bonus performance bonus eligibility Schedule Variable - Pharmacy is open 6am-3am on weekdays and mid afternoon to 8pm on weekends. Should be flexible for mostly day shifts, but possible weekends if needed Requirements Experience working in a Long Term Care Pharmacy setting is highly preferred Leadership experience - progressive leadership, lead roles, pharmacy compliance experience, Frameworks experience is a plus Schedule flexibility Active NY RPH license Projected Start Date ASAP This position is on‑site in Melville, NY Please apply today and our team will contact you promptly #J-18808-Ljbffr
