Clinician (Flipside)

Country & Outback Health is a not-for-profit organisation focused on building healthier and happier communities. Delivering a diverse range of mental health, allied health, addiction support, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, NDIS services as well as support services for young people within our headspace centres. Fixed Term until January 2027 The Role Funded by BHP the Flipside program offers a valuable service to people and their families in Roxby Downs and surrounding areas. As the Flipside Clinician you will provide early intervention mental health support to people aged between 10-25 years and while engaging more broadly with young people throughout the community through various education/workshops, schools and other forums to upskill community leaders and ambassadors who support young people in their future. Key responsibilities: Building purposeful relationships with young people and families Supporting young people individually and through various group forums to be their best Link young people with community supports to enhance their life Participate in mental health community awareness programs and initiatives About You If you are passionate about the health and wellbeing of our young people and want to make a difference where it counts then this role is for you You will need: Any of the following qualifications suitable for appropriate registration: Social Worker Psychologist / Provisional Psychologist / Occupational Therapist Registered Nurse (RN) Able to work with young people and their families in a rural setting to assess and develop treatment plans that contribute toward recovery Ability to engage with community groups and schools to promote positive mental health outcomes What’s on offer?
