Perfectly positioned in the heart of the pretty coastal township of Nelson Bay, The Nelson Bay boatyard offers premium servicing ensuring the highest industry standards. This is your chance to join an enthusiastic team in a fast-paced marine service environment with extensive training provided to advance your skills in all aspects of yard operations and associated waterfront activities. Reporting to the Boatyard Operations Manager, your key tasks will consist of but not limited to: Perform daily boatyard and detailing tasks Ensure timely retrieval and launch of vessels Perform repairs and services Monitor and maintain stock levels Prepare vessels for required maintenance Apply antifoul and other applications The ideal person we seek would have: Sound knowledge of vessel construction and maintenance practices. Basic Maintenance skills and ability to use hand and power tools. Detailing Experience. A forklift & current boat license is preferred but not essential. Reliable and punctual. Australian Residency. Awareness of workplace safety, health, quality and environmental standards. Experience in boatyard work is preferred but not essential.
