The Job As a Grower Liaison Officer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the business and its network of citrus growers. This role is hands‑on and focused on maintaining high levels of fruit quality, yield, and supply consistency. Building and maintaining strong relationships with growers to ensure long‑term supply Providing guidance on best horticultural practices including fertiliser and chemical applications, food safety, and harvest execution Conducting crop evaluations and delivering accurate harvest projections Managing grower databases, records of chemical applications, and farm maps Overseeing quality assurance from orchard through to packing, providing regular feedback to growers Assisting with grower registrations, contracts, and participating in farm audits Representing the business at industry meetings, conferences, and events This is a full‑time position reporting to the Site Operations Manager, with extended hours and weekend work during peak harvest seasons. Skills & Experience A degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soils, or related Agricultural Sciences (preferred) Experience in horticulture, agronomy, grower management, consulting, or a related role Strong knowledge of agriculture production or broader horticultural/food agriculture industry Practical skills in crop nutrition, chemical applications, and harvest planning Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain grower relationships Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage databases and make accurate projections Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to work independently under pressure A valid Australian driver’s licence (mandatory) Chemical application and first aid certifications (advantageous) Benefits Be part of a leading citrus operation with a strong reputation for quality Opportunity to work closely with growers in one of Australia’s most productive citrus regions Exposure to both domestic and international citrus markets Competitive salary package on offer Career development opportunities within a growing and dynamic agricultural business #J-18808-Ljbffr
